Let’s work together

It would be a wonderful opportunity to share my children’s book and story with your students and their families. We can collaborate to increase the intentionality behind my visit to establish cohesion between your current learning provocations and the cultural nuances of the book.
My visit will include; large group gathering/book reading, expressive art explorations, age-appropriate sociodramatic play (role-playing), and a take-home coloring page. Visiting time and activity are flexible based on chidlren’s age and development.
We can customize our time together by teaming up to create a developmental age-appropriate activity to best suit your student's needs.
Author visits are available for infants-school age students and the inclusive classroom.

Speaking topics range from; multiculturalism, antibias and antiracist curriculum, instructional design pedagogy, biracial diaspora, parents as the first teachers, and designing early learning programs with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
I offer workshops, program evaluations with a focus on DEI practices, and consultation services for instructional leadership.
I have developed a presentation titled “The Art of Storytelling and its Impact on Children’s Books.” The content is adaptable to fit different audiences: teachers, students, parents, administrators, librarians, bookstore owners, system coordinators, and professional development advisors. A presentation description will be provided upon request.

If you are a grassroots organization, parent, advocate, community leader, or artist looking to build connections and strengthen the fabric of our community, I would be honored to make your acquaintance and contribute collectively to challenge social constructs that fragment and cause division in our communities. I hope to help build sustainable societal change with a multifaceted group of people through community healing engagements.

I would love to be a part of your staff meetings to offer perspective and ideas on ways to create and implement an anti-racist and anti-bias curriculum.
We can collaborate to tailor our time together to best meet the needs of your organization. Let’s begin the journey of providing equity in all aspects of early education together. here
